30/2 = 15 Facts About JMP

Since my writings were horribly neglected in January, I've decided to hop on the blogging bandwagon and lend my thoughts to the 30 Day Challenge. I've been letting the days pass by swiftly without much notice or without much care, seemingly set adrift among feelings of indifference. Some days I just feel insignificant -- another face among hundreds or another car fleeing down the street. To prevent any further feelings of disgust for my current day-to-day, I'm hoping a daily posting will allow me to appreciate the small things, even when the big picture may leave a little something to be desired.

As Day One of most of these challenges go, below is a list of 15 facts about myself, for your enjoyment:

- I'm a firm believer in holding doors for all people, regardless of gender, but especially for the ladies
- My favorite wine is Twisted River Riesling
- I only go to the grocery store once a month at the most, usually to stock up on Oreos, milk and coffee creamer
- I go to breakfast by myself every Saturday morning at the same place and order the same thing: a waffle, bacon and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese
- My wardrobe is 90% Gap
- My first car was a red and black 1986 Camaro Z28 305 V8, and I'd give my right arm to still have it today
- I used to have long hair, but I had all of it cut off in 2008 at a salon in Beverly Hills
- I wear mens size 13 shoes
- For having such a hard-to-find size, I have an excessive and unnecessary amount of shoes in my closet
- I'm a grammar whore, and it frustrates me that the world doesn't understand the difference between "your" and "you're"
- I'm obsessed with typography and fonts
- The first person I ever told I was a homo was my best friend AMG when we were 18
- If I could pick any car whatsoever to drive, it'd be a Ferrari 360 Modena, but all I really want is a Corvette
- I couldn't live without my cat
- My favorite artist is Salvador Dali and my favorite painting by him is The Meditative Rose, 1958
