I have two words for you: Lloyd Dobler.
Probably one of the most recognizable scenes from a movie... John Cusack standing in front of his blue Chevy Malibu holding the famous stereo, hoping the lyrics of Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes (also my favorite song) reaches through the window of his beloved Diane Court.
Say Anything came out in 1989 -- at the end of a great decade. If you take nothing away from this movie, you must at least appreciate the atrocious outfits, right? But seriously, the story is so sweet, John Cusack is so cute and Ione Skye is just awkwardly wonderful. If you need to borrow it, I have it on DVD and VHS.
