Today, I must reveal to you a TV show I'm currently addicted to as part of the Challenge. You know, often I tend to stay away from things that are wildly popular, just for the sake of being different. But every once in a while I'll give in to the curiosity and temptation and try something just to see what everyone's talking about. So, I finally did it. I started watching...
Blame it on the day job, but I analyze every tiny detail of television shows, from the graphics to the editing, to the shot angles, writing, acting and plot development, and I have to say that after being two seasons into this show, I'm totally blown away. What an amazing conflict it is for the audience to see the main character as both a hero and a villain. Which is it?! He kills people, yet I don't want him to get caught! And all the intricate details of each carefully crafted episode, each fitting in perfectly with the entire path of the show overall... it's all genius. So, everyone was right: This is a pretty awesome show.
Um, plus, who doesn't love a little Julie Benz in their lives?
The horrific thing is that I was reading some info about the show online and accidentally discovered some less-than-thrilling news about my favorite character, so I may have to stop watching the show after season four...

a. I freaking love this show. You are so right, it's all about the dynamic between good guy vs bad guy and rooting for someone who is a killer.
ReplyDeleteb. I totally did the exact same thing re: looking up Rita's fate in season 4. Bad idea. Ruined it for me, but I still love it.
c. Just wait till you get to season 5. I think you'll be loving you some Julia Stiles too.
